the san francisco police arrested a man in connection with sunday night's muni bus analyst. san francisco police have arrested gregory tyler on felony charges of vandalism and injuring or destroy passenger transit vehicle. a lot of people are expected to flood the streets of san francisco today for a ticker-tape parade. celebrating the giants would series plane. the parade will be a family friendly talk of free of it. crews were out setting out a giant video screen on larkin street. with more than one line people expected to attend today's event crews are also setting up at the barricades designed to hold back the crowd. today's parade will begin at the foot of market street near san francisco bay and cover about one and one-half miles to city hall. it will be all hands on deck for bart as the transit agency expects record ryder ship with giant fans across the bay area heading to the parade. the best way to avoid long lines heading to the giant parade is to purchase a roundtrip ticket. also bart is recommending that daily commuters get to the station and hour earlier than usual in anticip

fell short of reaching. >> people were very happy in san francisco but in some parts of the city the victory celebration turned into and ugly scene. >> we begin with ali. >> reporter: fortunately it was the kinds of damage that was eltifl easy to clean -- relatively easy to clean up. if you look here in the middle of the street, you can see a pile of garbage still out in the middle of the street. that was the burnt out contents of one of the many dumpsters that was lit on fire an on this stretch of road. so far, there are no reports of any businesses damaged in the mission neighborhood. this intersection, you can see open to traffic but it was a very different scene here a few hours ago. police lined the intersection of 16th and mission early this morning. they set up a command center of sorts, a lot of vehicles and a hundred officers at that intersection. we saw police make some arrests. and this was after fans and rowdy crowds set several dumpsters on fire in the middle of mission street. some of those dumpsters kept flaring up and smoldering for hours. >> we started around 24

hours ago in san francisco, shots were fired at an undercover police officer. tara moriarty is live to tell us what the suspects left behind that may help police capture them. >> reporter: one woman is in custody here at the mission police station. people are hoping and questioning here she will be able to tell them who the suspects are. the three left behind a car, a gun and a cell phone that they dropped on the sidewalk as they were trying to run away. right now, an under cover police car has two bullet holes in it. one striking very close to where the officer was sitting. luckily he wasn't hurt. about 1:00 to this morning the sergeant was heading near cesar chavez. he noticed a gray sedan that looked suspicious. the people inside of that car fired at him. >> we had a police inspector who was fired upon by suspects. his vehicle was hit at least a couple times here. we do have one suspect in custody from that vehicle. we're searches now to locate at least the other two suspects. >> reporter: the secretary did -- sergeant did not return fire. even though the officer wasn't hurt, i
2 news. >>> happening now, crews with the san francisco puc are working on treasure island to fix a water main break. happened around 7:00 tonight right in front of the main great on the island. it appears that most of treasure island is without water service at this time. we're talked to a puc spokesperson about 30 minutes ago and he said it is not clear how long it'll take to fix the break or how long the water service is going to be done. >> the alameda police have arrested the arrest of two teenager for the murder of a woman. one has been identified cody natosha and other is a 16-year- old. detectives say they left after the killing, had lunch, then returned to the home and set it on fire. >> later on that evening they realized there was a dead body in this home and they may have left some evidence behind. >> the two suspects appeared in court but did not enter pleas. both teenagers are being tried as adults. >>> the fire started in a home in andover street and quickly spread to a neighbor's house causing nearly half a million dollars in damage. 16 people were displaced. one w

come in time for halloween. >> following developing news out of san francisco right now. a woman is badly injured after a shooting and a car crash. >> reporter: it happened just before four this morning in city's western edition neighborhood. according to a detective a 30- year-old woman who was driving this car, you see flipped over -- that's now in the process of getting towed. she was shot four times and while on the way to the hospital she said she had been trying to park when she heard and felt the gun fire. police have been searching through the crime scene since early this morning marking shell casings and bullet holes. they say there were two shooters involve though they don't have any suspect descriptions. based on where all the shell casings are it seems to indicate that the shooters walked up to the car and opened fire. one of the detectives said they don't think it was a random attack. they suspect woman had a connection to the people who shot her. as far the woman's condition he is expected to survive. she was taken to the hospital and is having surgery and is in st
